1. Introduction Welcome to Jaime Dennis Somatics ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.jaime-dennis.com) and the somatic, stress management, and integration services provided by Jaime Dennis. By requesting a session, paying for a service, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Scope of Practice & Medical Disclaimer Jaime Dennis provides practical, body-based somatic support and integration coaching.

Not Psychotherapy: The services provided do not constitute clinical psychotherapy, counseling, psychoanalysis, or medical treatment.

Not Crisis Support: Our services are educational and supportive. They are not a substitute for professional psychiatric care. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or active crisis, you must contact local emergency services or a licensed mental health professional. We reserve the right to decline or terminate services if we determine our scope of practice is not suitable for your current needs.
3. Booking and Payment Terms

Securing a Session: Sessions are only confirmed and entered into the diary once full payment is received.

Pricing & Currency: Fees are explicitly stated prior to booking. For UK and global online clients, payments are processed in GBP (£). For Malta in-person clients, payments are processed in EUR (€).

Late Payments: If payment is not received within the timeframe specified during our initial communication, the proposed time slot will be released.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows When you book a 90-minute session, that time is strictly reserved for you.

48-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice via email or WhatsApp. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours' notice will be refunded or transferred to a new date without penalty.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session, or failure to attend without notice, will result in the full fee being forfeited.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the boundaries of following clients. The fee will not be prorated.

Practitioner Cancellations: In the unlikely event that Jaime Dennis must cancel a session due to illness or emergency, you will be offered a priority reschedule or a full refund.
5. Client Responsibilities & Session Boundaries

Online Sessions: For Zoom sessions, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private space where you will not be interrupted.

In-Person Sessions: For sessions in Żebbuġ, Gozo, exact location details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Substance Policy & Integration: We offer harm reduction and integration support for past experiences; however, we do not provide, administer, or facilitate the use of any substances. Clients must attend all sessions free from the active influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. If a client arrives intoxicated, the session will be immediately terminated without a refund.
6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jaime Dennis Somatics shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or participation in our sessions. You acknowledge that you are fully responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
7. Intellectual Property All content on this website, including text and service descriptions, is the property of Jaime Dennis and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce this content without explicit written permission.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Malta. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
